How Staking Works
Staking locks your MYSTIC tokens and activates yield generation.
Your stake determines:
How fast card durability burns
DPY (Daily Percentage Yield)
DPY is your daily yield rate.
DPY is locked when you stake.
Global DPY changes over time.
Your personal DPY only updates when you take action.
This creates real strategy around when you stake and compound.
DPY Windows & Rate Locking
Sometimes the global DPY is higher than normal.
Staking or compounding during these windows locks in better rates until your next action.
Timing matters.
Unstaking removes your tokens from the protocol.
When you unstake:
All active cards are removed.
Progression pauses until you restake.
Unstaking is flexible, but it resets your active setup.
Compounding:
Claims yield into principal
This is the preferred long-term action for most players.
Cooldowns exist to prevent abuse and enforce pacing.
They encourage intentional decisions rather than constant micro-actions.
